The Entertaining King Kong Monster


King Kong is a fictional monster, conceived and created by U.S. filmmaker Merian C.  This gigantic animal resembles an over-sized monster gorilla. Neither man nor beast, King Kong monster has somewhat humanoid appearance with great physical strength, and some human-like intelligence.

Not only is the monster King Kong fictional, but also his different hometowns of Skull Island, Faroe Island, and Mondo Island. This famous monster has appeared in many films since 1933. There have been many film remakes, with various sequels, ever since the groundbreaking movie in 1933.

In the original film, the monster’s name is Kong, which is given to him by the natives of "Skull Island" in the Indian Ocean. He is captured and brought to the New York City by an American film crew, led by Carl Denham, to be displayed as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". In the film, Kong escapes and climbs the Empire State Building where he is shot and killed by aircraft. But he had climbed the building only in an attempt to protect Ann Darrow an actress offered up to Kong as a sacrifice originally.

The King Kong monster has grown to be one of the world's most well known movie icons. Having transcended the medium, the character has appeared in other works too like the cartoon series, comics, books, video games, theme park rides, various merchandise and paraphernalia. There is also an upcoming stage play on this famous monster. His role, varying from source to source, ranges from a storming monster to tragic antihero.

Some of the well known films on King Kong Monster are King Kong , The Son of Kong, King Kong vs. Godzilla , King Kong Escapes, King Kong Lives , King Kong and Naomi Watts. Tiger Electronics has successfully released many King Kong games which include - a LCD game, game for the Atari 2600 home video, handheld game, an "Orlitronic"

The King Kong has often been projected as a mindless monster, possessing great strength and the ability to become stronger by imbibing power from electric energy. He has even fought Godzilla, featured in a cartoon series and even fathered a son. He even survived a fall from the sky that required coronary surgery.
